Taking inspiration from women of the past…
Start with a light base, perhaps a tinted moisturizer or a foundation
Sweep a dust of powder to set
Add a dab of rouge to the cheeks
Keep eyebrows natural and use a pencil to enhance, usually one shade darker than own hair colour
If you’re feeling brave enough to give eyeshadow a go, perhaps try an old trend in the 40’s was to match your eye colour to your eyeshadow, for example blue eyed girls used blue eyeshadow, brown eyed girls used brown and green eyed girls used green!
Make a statement with mascara and use dark brown or black, and go heavier on the top lashes!
And the final touch… lipstick! Choose any colour… red, pink, orange, coral – the rainbow is your limit!
