I recently read “All The Light We Cannot See” by Anthony Doerr.



Initially I resisted as it seemed such a terribly sad storyline but it kept beckoning, you know how some books just do? And so I bought it, couldn’t put it down and now tell everyone about it.   Anthony Doerr’s style is unique, concise yet descriptive, beautiful, thought provoking, resonating.

Written and directed by Nancy Meyers this talented lady –  also the creator of “Its Complicated”, “Something’s Gotta Give” and “Father of the Bride” – can do no wrong. I find these are a lovely set of films to revisit, never get old, always uplifting.
